About Taylor Lautner
Lautner got his big break when he was cast as Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga film series, beginning with the first film, Twilight (2008). Lautner returned for the following two movies, The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011) and is set to appear in the final film of the series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in late 2012. Lautner has been nominated for several awards for his work in the Twilight series, including honors at the MTV Movie Awards, People's Choice Awards, and Scream Awards. He later found more commercial success with his debut action film, Abduction, which became a sleeper hit.
The late 2000s saw Lautner become a teen idol and rise as a sex symbol, after extensively changing his physique to keep the role of Jacob Black in further Twilight installments, and thereafter generating media attention for his looks. In 2010, he was ranked second on Glamour's "The 50 Sexiest Men of 2010" list, and fourth on People's "Most Amazing Bodies" list, among other honors. As of 2010, Lautner was considered the highest-paid teenage actor in Hollywood.

AMC Theaters to feature the Twilight Trilogy
We all knew that Cinemark theaters were going to be offering the Twilight Trilogy for one day only on June 29th with Twilight and New New Moon being shown as a lead in to the midnight showing of Eclipse. Tickets for this are available on fandango.com and cost $25 (the ticket is $24 and there is a $1 processing fee) Today, AMC Theaters have also announced that They will be offering the three movies in a package deal as well that they will be calling The Twilight Experience. AMC's package will cost $30, and while this is more expensive than Cinemark's, you will get more for your money. Should you decide to go with AMC's package, your $30 will buy you your tickets for all three films, a $10 AMC gift card (and yes you can use it at concession stands), and a Twilight lanyard (while supplies last). Also, it is important to note, that if you've already purchased your tickets for eclipse, they will accomodate your request should you wish to upgrade to the Twilight Experience package. You can go to amcentertainment.com for more info on the packaage and about upgrading. I have already purchased my ticket for the Twilight Trilogy at my local Cinemark theater (since my area has no theaters run by AMC), and will definitely report back on the Twihard craziness that is sure to be occuring at the Trilogy event.

MTV Movie Awards nominations are in!
Kristen Stewart is actually up against herself -- for her passionate smooch with Robert Pattinson in "New Moon," vs. her girl-on-girl lip-lock with Dakota Fanning in "The Runaways."
"Twilight" co-star Taylor Lautner also gets a nod for his kissing skills with former girlfriend Taylor Swift in another flick, "Valentine's Day."
Rounding out the Best Kiss category are Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in "The Proposal" and Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington in "Avatar."
Voting starts at 12 p.m. ET Wednesday at MovieAwards.MTV.com. Tune in to see who puckers up best on June 6 on MTV, when host Aziz Ansari takes the stage to present the lucky winners during the live show.

Show Me the Money SUMMIT!

Summit. Summit. Summit.... *tsk tsk*,It's time to SHOW THEM THE MONEY SUMMIT! So the word on the street is that there are negotiations that may not be going as smoothly for Twilight stars Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz. Now that the director for The Twilight Saga's: BREAKING DAWN has been chosen and that it will be filmed into 2 parts..........it is essential that the cast be perfect for the final installment Summit!
Of course Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have all been taken care of but it's time to remember the other cast members who have brought to life some of our OTHER beloved characters! It's one thing that "Victoria" was recast for the 3rd installment which you might remember cauing havoc in the Twilight Universe, but it's entirely another thing to think you could just replace Alice and Emmett Cullen! This is just plain insanity! C'mon it's time to pay up and give them what they deserve! It's not like you don't have the funds to give them a decent pay raise, hell I have a closet, garage and drawers full of Twilight merchandise that says otherwise!
You have met some of the TwiHards right? You know they will come after you in search of blood! Your fans are VERY committed and I think it's time that you commit to your actors who have been part of the success of Summit in regards to the Twilight Saga franchise. I'm not saying I won't go see the movie, but I will think twice about buying all my favorite Alice and Emmet merch.....just sayin'....
So Summit in conclusion......"SHOW ME THE MONEY!" and I will show you mine!

Twilight and Eclipse are on the top of my fave's in The Twilight Saga, so since Twilight was somewhat of a bust, I AM DEFINITELY looking forward to the third installment! This will be the best 2 hours and 4 minutes I'll invest on 6/30/10! Who am I kidding, I think I will be spending 6 hours and 12 minutes of pure bliss on 6/30/10!

Newborn Corner
When the sisterhood first ventured out, veteran blogging site Confession of a TwiCrack Head helped us out, and we want to pay it forward to the newbie Twilight Bloggers. Like Chris Weitz said, "Its sharing information and keeping the frenzy going."
Our first guest in the Newborn Corner is…..
Twiworld 24/7 has spunk, creativity, humor, a little craziness, and above all, a love for the Cullen's. The blog is fun to read, and Twiworld 24/7 (AKA Deejay) has a lot of great insights on the Twilight phenomenon.
My favorite part of this blog (aside from the pics of Mr. Lutz) is the idea for the Blogger's Book Club. Twiworld 24/7 blogged about having a book club stating that, "this is not a typical book club, it will be much differen't," where all the Twihard fans can express their thoughts about the books, chapter by chapter, starting with Eclipse. GASP! You mean not starting with the first book, Twilight?? But you see that is why I like this blog. It is written in a free spirited way and throws a little fun in the mix.
Now, the blogger book club has not yet started, and I think that with some more support (and followers) Twiworld 24/7 will become a favorite in the Twilight Blogging world. This is the purpose for the Newborn Corner...give the newbie bloggers some exposure and support so that they can continue to entertain us with new ideas and opinions on all things Twilight.
Show your support for our newbie blog in this weeks Newborn Corner, and check out...

Bobby Long Debuts 2010 Tour at SxSW

Long, who plays a Gibson J200, has begun recording his much anticipated debut studio album with producer Liam Watson (The White Stripes’ “Elephant”) at the helm. It is targeted for an early summer release. He has sold over 10,000 copies of his 10-song collection of original material called Dirty Pond Songs that he recorded in his bedroom to make available exclusively at his shows. “Left to Lie” and “The Bounty of Mary Jane” from that CD are available for download from iTunes and other digital outlets. “Let Me Sign,” a song he co-wrote with Marcus Foster, is included on the American Music Award-winning soundtrack of the blockbuster film “Twilight.”
“With raw vocal power and smart, evocative lyrics, Long is a folksinger with a spirited intensity that puts him outside and above the masses of singer-songwriters roaming our cities, towns and social networks.” —blogcritics.com
“Long has a likable, rough-hewn voice, a catchy way with a chorus and a style that evokes early Bob Dylan.” –Boston Herald
Bobby Long’s confirmed 2010 U.S. dates are as follows: March 12—WXPN Free at Noon live broadcast, Philadelphia; March 13—World Café Live Upstairs, Philadelphia; March 15—Mercury Lounge, New York City; March 16—Poor David’s Pub, Dallas (Yep, I'll be at this one!!! -C); and March 17- 21—SxSW Music Conference, Austin, TX. The complete 2010 tour will be announced shortly.
Stephanie Meyer's Sweeps Top 4 Again

For the second year in a row, Meyer swept the top four spots. No other author — not even J. K. Rowling— has done that in the list's 16-year history.
Meyer's coattails pulled 16 other vampire titles onto the list of the year's 100 most popular books.
"Meyer had an unbelievable impact," says Michael Norris, books analyst for Simba Information, a market-research firm. He wonders what publishers will do when what he calls " 'the vampire industrial average' falls. Every cycle has an end."
But for now, Meyer — who has also benefited from Twilight movie adaptations, with more to come — has turned "the YA (young adult) category into the PG-13 of books," he says. "She's not just read by tweens and teens, but by a lot of 30-year-old women."

Kellan Lutz talks to MTV

With shooting on "Eclipse" winding down and the "Breaking Dawn" movie still unconfirmed, these may be the final days that Twilighters see any Cullens on a film set for a while. With that in mind, we wanted to make sure we caught up with one of our all-time favorite "Twilight" stars — Mr. Kellan Lutz — at least one more time.
In between his "Eclipse" duties, the Snuggie-loving actor sometimes known as Emmett Cullen sat down exclusively with MTV to discuss his thoughts on the "Twilight" movies, including comparisons of the various films' directors and his favorite scenes from "New Moon," due out on November 20.
MTV: What do you see as the biggest difference between the tales in the "Twilight" saga?
Kellan Lutz: What's the biggest difference? That's an interesting question. Because the books are already about different subjects. Stephenie [Meyer] wrote them with the Romeo and Juliet aspect, and then, each one has a different persona. It's a really cool concept. But as far as the directors go, each director is different. Catherine [Hardwicke] was very energetic, and she made this beautiful movie. Chris [Weitz] had this really cool, really laid-back [vibe], but has a great sense of how to do CGI and how to make these wolves look real and bigger than life versus just some computerized image. Then David Slade, with his action background and his indie style, just mixed the two. The movies are going to be unique in their own aspects, and that's what's really interesting — it's not the same director doing each one. We, as actors, got to see different styles of [directing]. So it doesn't feel old, ever.
MTV: What is your favorite "New Moon" scene?
Lutz: My favorite scene is probably anything that Charlie is in, played by Billy Burke. He just has this great comedic timing, and every scene [with him], I get a laugh out of. And there's just tons of action. That's the thing too, seeing the wolves actually fight each other and roughhouse. It's really interesting to see what Chris did.
MTV: Which of the new characters is your favorite?
Lutz: The Volturi boys. I didn't meet them in "New Moon," so now [I see them on the "Eclipse" set]. I didn't have the time to meet them when we were shooting "New Moon" because the shooting schedules were different. So, with seeing them, and finally meeting them on "Eclipse," they're really cool. It's interesting to finally meet them. It's so weird being an actor in something and not being a part of the whole cast feeling.
MTV: As the saga continues to film, do you feel like you're becoming more or less like your character?
Lutz: I've been my character. I feel like I've been Emmett since day one. I really loved the character when I first had the audition for Edward. I was like, "No guys, come on [let me be in the movie]." And then I asked them about Emmett, and something was already done with that, and then it came back [available again]. I just really like Emmett. He's a great, fun character to play. I'm always so happy to be on the set. He's not depressing, he's not complex. He's just the lovable bear type.
For more from the "New Moon" cast and to see an exclusive clip from the film, check out MTV's "Ulalume: Howling at New Moon" on Friday, October 30 at 9 p.m. ET — and check MTV.com at 10 p.m. to see the clip exclusively online!

Vanity Fair Interview with Peter Facinelli
Having featured the members of Twilight’s Wolf Pack last week, VF.com is switching its allegiance to vampires. On a frigid day in New York City, I caught up with actor Peter Facinelli in between his “medical” commitments—he plays a human doctor on Showtime’s Nurse Jackie and a bloodsucking one, the 400-year-old Dr. Carlisle Cullen, in the Twilight saga—to discuss how New Moon differs from the first Twilight movie, his role as a father figure on and off the set, and what he really thinks of his fellow vampires. As the patriarch of the Cullen clan, have you assumed a similar fatherly role with the cast?
You know, on Twilight I feel like they looked to me as the father figure, but because we became so close, I’m more of an older brother now.
Has there been a difference in the way you interact as a cast since you filmed Twilight?
Rob[ert Pattinson] has more security guards hanging around him! [Laughs] Other than that, not really. We really enjoy each other’s company, and we’ve been working so much on this movie that we really haven’t had as much time to hang out with each other. We’re putting in these long hours and then just heading home. Usually we just try to catch dinner with each other then get back up the next morning and do it all over again.
What would you say is the one major thing that has changed about your life since starting the franchise?
I’m traveling a lot more than I used to and interacting with a lot more people. The fan base on this, I don’t know how else to explain it … it’s a cultural phenomenon. People will actually hop on a plane to see you. Sometimes I do these charity events, and people fly in to come and see me. I’m just really, really impressed with [the fan] dedication to these books and to the movies. I’ve always had a fan base with the work I’ve done, but never as rabid as this.
You seem pretty dedicated to them, too, judging by your Twitter page.
You know, I love connecting with the fans because I’m a fan of the books myself. They’re all so dedicated and wonderful to me that I love to be able to give back. So if stopping for a picture or signing a book of theirs puts a smile on their face, then that makes me happy, too. I kind of go out of my way to make sure—if there are fans hanging around the set—to try to stop and say hello to them before I get in the van. It takes five minutes to make people happy. I love interacting with them.
You’ve been working steadily since your early twenties—the same age that some of the Twilight cast members are now. Have you been able to offer any advice to any of them, especially at a time when they’ve suddenly been thrust into the spotlight?
I’ve had some conversations with some of the cast about careers because I’ve been working for fifteen years. They’re just starting out with their careers, and for a lot of them this is their first big break. I think they look to me and ask, How do you sustain that? It’s still a mystery to me, too! I feel very lucky. For me it’s about longevity and not about just one movie. It’s got to be a scary time for them because this movie is giving them lots of opportunities. It’s up to them to steer this journey into a career, and not just be part of Twilight and be gone. I look at them, and it’s got to be pretty scary to have that much on their shoulders pretty quick, but I think they’re really talented, really smart, and I think that they’re going to be fine.
What has this done for your career?
I’ve done a lot of movies and different roles, and this is another role that I love to play. I look forward to continue doing a lot more. It’s definitely broadened my fan base even with my own kids. For a long time, they didn’t get to see any of the work I’ve done because of the mature content.

Silver Volvo traded in
Remember when Bella uttered those words and you instantly thought of the Silver Volvo Edward was famous for? Well its not silver anymore, its black.
I don't have anything against black but its NOT a sports car....it's a....it's a....minivan! Sorry when did this happen? Did they decided that Bella was going to get pregnant in school so they now have the parent trap vehicle?

Disclaimer: My coffee was really strong so forgive me. :)

Anna Kendrick's New Movie - "Up In The Air" - Teaser Trailer
George Clooney stars as Ryan Bingham, a corporate downsizing expert whose life goal is to rack up ten million frequent fly miles to earn him lifetime platinum member status. But Ryan’s single serving on the road lifestyle is threatened when a recent college graduate named Natalie Keener (Anna Kendrick) devises a system to fire people through internet teleconferencing, rendering his travels as an unneeded expense. Bingham is assigned to take Natalie on the road to introduce her to the real-life conditions of the job, which Bingham argues would be lost in the cost-cutting transition.
The subplot of the film follows Bingham’s casual sexual relationship with another business traveler he met on the road, a woman named Alex (Vera Farmiga). I’m sure Paramount will try to market this film as a romantic comedy based on this storyline, but the film is much much deeper and stronger story than that. It’s about a middle aged man who thinks he has everything figured out, and is forced to reevaluate the meaning of life as he knows it.

Perez on Howard Stern talking Twilight??

"Oh yeah I LOVE Vampires and now I see they have wolves."
AND in total Howard Stern fashion:
"What about the lead guy from Twilight? Is he your type?"
"Rob Pattinson, *chuckles* yes"
"Would you let him put it in your ass?"
