Is it True That Cancer Risk for IVF

Is it true that cancer risk for IVF. This statement must be ascertained truth. There are outstanding issues, the fact that the babies easy to get cancer from the results of in vitro fertilization. However, the research team said that the trigger of the high risk of getting cancer test tube baby was probably related to how to conceive this baby.

This case may occur due to genetic factors from parents who turn to IVF because they are infertile, says a team of researchers from Sweden who supported a number of other experts. In addition, in vitro fertilization are also often born prematurely and having breathing problems at birth - traits in other studies associated with an increased risk of cancer.

In the study, the research team led by Dr. Bengt Kallen of the University of Lund, Sweden observing the children that their mother's pregnancy through IVF.

The results of this latest study published in the journal Pediatrics. The research team analyzed more than 2.4 million births in Sweden between 1982 and 2005, including about 27,000 in vitro fertilization. In addition also analyzed cancer data in children until they are aged 19 years.

Overall, 53 children born through IVF pregnancies affected by cancer, compared with 38 other children the same age, or the risk is increased 42%. Leukemia and brain cancer became the most common cases.

Kallen said the reason of association, among others because of unidentified traits in their parents that may be associated with infertility and cancer risk.
Absolute risk of cancer in children is still very low, far below 1%. Possibility of cancer that occurs in vitro fertilization is not large.

Does Miscarriage Makes Difficult to Get Pregnant Again

Does miscarriage makes difficult to get pregnant again? This is a confusion and doubt among couples. Miscarriage leave bitter memories for women who experience it. Many of those who managed to rise, to be pregnant and give birth to healthy children. But not a few who have difficulty to conceive again. Then how the real condition?

By Henry Lerner, MD, author of miscarriage: Why It Happens and How Best to Reduce Your Risks, miscarriage occurs in about 20 percent of pregnancies. However, the miscarriage does not affect the ability of women to get pregnant. Only, if you had three miscarriages in a row, this is a sign that there is an underlying medical problem. If you have this, you really have to get used to this problem, only then re-program the pregnancy.

But if you do not get pregnant despite having no health problems, no need to immediately think you are having infertility problems. The key to re-conceive after a miscarriage is to know the signs of ovulation, because then your hormones will change and balance it again after a few menstrual cycles.

Fertile women will experience a few days a month, and most fertile before and after ovulation. Your doctor will ask you to wait one full cycle before getting pregnant again (after miscarriage). Generally, you are advised to wait two or three months because at that moment the wall of the uterus is recovering.

What if you had an abortion for medical reasons, whether this will also affect fertility?

According to Randy Morris, MD, clinical professor for the division of reproductive endocrinologist at the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago, abortion will affect fertility if you experience complications during or after the procedure. For example, the infection can leave scar tissue in the uterus, which can interfere with the planting of the eggs.

So in conclusion;
  • Miscarriages are not accidentally, do not cause trouble getting pregnant again, or does not affect ability to conceive. But that fell due to mental miscarriage of a woman, may lead to difficulty of ovulation in the womb.
  • Abortion is more than likely difficult or can not get pregnant, in case of complications during an abortion

Provision Question for Pregnancy Control

Needs to do during pregnancy, the most important thing is to consult a doctor. Aiming for a healthy mother and her pregnancy until the baby is born. Consulted when there are certainly important questions to ask the doctor, for about the pregnancy. But if you do not have any certainty to what to ask your doctor, the following may help, provision question  for pregnancy control.

Surely every pregnant woman will have individual questions related to the condition of pregnancy respectively. For a visit to the doctor is really useful, complete berbekallah question. Here comes a list of questions.

How old is my pregnancy?
Usually the doctor will determine the two parameters. The first of the first day of last menstrual period, and from the ultrasound examination. By knowing, on the first day of last period (especially if the mother's regular menstrual cycle), the doctor can determine more precisely the gestational age than women who forget that date. For mothers who forgot, to use an ultrasound examination. The earlier the ultrasound is done, the results of the determination of gestational age would be more accurately obtained. Even if most misses in just one or two days.

What checks should I do?
Blood tests are highly recommended in early pregnancy, such as routine blood check (HB components, platelets, leucocytes, and hematocrit). It is to know the status of women in early pregnancy state in the laboratory, whether the state is less blood (anemia) or the presence or absence of infection given the generally frequent urinary tract infections in women.

Does my pregnancy normal or abnormal?
With gestational age and standards of examination, it is likely to appear first is the existence of pockets of pregnancy. If the bag does not develop according to gestational age and no fetus was found in it means there is a disorder called the empty egg.

What supplements should be consumed?
Your doctor will advise mothers to take folic acid in the first three months of age before pregnancy or at least during the early trimester. The goal is to prevent the occurrence of congenital malformations in the fetus (Neural Tube Defect).

Can having sex?
Doctors are generally allowed throughout pregnancy had no complaints.

Examples of the above question is general asked a woman with her partner on birth control, and should not be forgotten.

Chance of Natural Pregnancy After IVF

Being large is experiencing fertility problems in couples, making it difficult to get pregnant. With advances in technology, Procedure In Vitro Fertilization, or IVF, is one solution for couples who experience infertility problems.
Chances of success of this procedure is not 100 percent. That is, the expected pregnancy may not be successful even if the couple has done good preparation. Anyone would know IVF including expensive, so is there any chance of natural pregnancy after IVF

From the results of recent research from INSERM, the French medical research institute, said the failure undergoing IVF still allowing couples to conceive naturally after that. This is experienced by couples who already have children through IVF program before, or couples who have children naturally after his first failure in IVF programs.

"Many infertile couples think they can not conceive spontaneously, but our study shows that it is still possible," said Dr. Penelope Troude from INSERM. "Our research provides hope for couples that were not successful with IVF."

Successful couples already have children and are usually used contraception. Men and women of younger age have a greater chance of conceiving naturally, as well as infertile couples the cause was unknown, according to Dr. Johannes Evers, professor of obstetrics and content of the Maastricht University Medical Center in the Netherlands. For example, among women under 35 years with infertility problems are not obvious, 45 percent had become pregnant after undergoing IVF failure.

Infertility may be caused by hormonal problems or a low sperm count, but the cause is not found in 12-13 percent of couples surveyed. An unknown cause of infertility is a sign that the couple still have a chance to get pregnant naturally, compared with those who have a clear reason why the difficult pregnancy.

As you know, the IVF program requires no small cost, and are generally not covered by insurance. However, this discovery will provide hope for couples, that the failure of IVF does not mean the end of everything. Especially, if the cause of your difficulty getting pregnant is not known.
