I feel like a kid in the candy store! The 100 Monkeys returned to the Roxy in Hollywood. As most who know I find most of the members of the band attractive but....um....Jerad.....OMG arms for DAYZ!!

100 Monkeys Hard Rock performance

Ok by now you may have heard about the 'mic break' incident during the 100Monkey show. When I saw the HRC people yelling at Scott 'The Scientist' I knew they were not coming back for their encore as they originally planned.

Sorry to accuse the guys of breaking things on purpose is ridiculous! The mic was coming apart when the last band was playing and he had to put it back together. Jackson had the misfortune of using it next.

Music Rewind: 100 Monkeys - Ugly Girl

Just because I don't go gaga over Jackson doesn't mean I don't like 100Monkeys, in fact I love them too much! *wink*

On January 20, 2009 I saw 100Monkeys for the first time, I went by myself since I didn't know anyone in the Twi world that lived in the Hollywood area. When I was about to lose my courage and run home 100 Monkeys took the stage and I was mesmerized.

So as I wait patiently for the Viper Room show I will have to make due with their video for 'Ugly Girl'. If I had access to my old videos I would post more from the 24K days. Enjoy!

Sunday Night with 100Monkeys & The Absolute

This blog is a little backwards today. This blogger had a 100Monkey weekend, this adventure was shared with blogging partner Wearingwords (she attended Saturday's show, those pictures will be shared at a later date) and 100Monkey fans from my 24K days. But we're starting with Sunday's show at Hollywood's Roxy Theatre on the Sunset strip!

I've been attending 100Monkey shows almost a full year and I have to say Ben Graupner has grown into this amazing musician that makes me want to cry. His voice gets better and better and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this band.
