Jackson Rathbones 'Dread' Trailer

For those of you that are horror movie buffs like I am, you're going to love this trailer. I personally have been VERY impatiently awaiting the release of this movie. If your not so much into horror, well you can still enjoy the prettiness of Jackson Rathbone who plays a lead role in Dread, slated to be released in theaters on January 29, 2010.

The latest adaptation to spring from the works of Clive Barker, Dread, arrives in theaters on January 29. It's just one of the "eight films to die for" playing in After Dark's fourth Horrorfest outing.

Shock Till You Drop is proud to bring you an exclusive first look at the official trailer for the film which stars Jackson Rathbone, Shaun Evans, Hanne Steen and Laura Donnelly. Rathbone and Evans play students who get embroiled in a fear study that goes awry (if it didn't, it wouldn't be "Clive Barker," would it?). Anthony DiBlasi writes and directs.

Don't forget, we're co-hosting a sneak preview of Dread in Los Angeles on January 23 with the cast and crew in attendance. For more details visit this story! For our full set report, click here.

Jackson Rathbone stars in Dread

Tonight I went to a screening of Jackson Rathbone's new film Dread, he plays Stephen Grace who conducts a Fear study with new found friend Quaid, along with his friend Cheryl Fromm.
Stephen leads a pretty quiet and dull life with few friends, he has his own demons from his past but he honestly has a grasp on reality. In walks Quaid with this Fear study idea that Stephen finds intriguing and soon the Dread study begins. But Quiad wants to take it further, he wants Stephen and Cheryl to face their biggest fears and will do whatever it takes to make them face the 'Beast'.
Overall dread is actually a good movie but very gory, if blood makes squeamish then you'll be like me and hide your face in your hoodie. There were several What the Eff?!?! moments because you were not sure if it was an illusion or real. Rathbone plays Stephen with ackward artistic quiet charm just when you think Stephen was weak he'd come back with quiet strength.
